Burros y caballos

¡Hola chicas!

Ayer estuve en una finca para caballos con unas amigas. Ahora que llega el buen tiempo ya se puede empezar a salir por el campo, aunque ayer hacía un viento...

Estuvimos viendo cómo vivían, las zonas que tienen para andar, paseamos a una yegua... Había un burro majísimo, muy simpático y curioso y nos fue siguiendo cuando paseamos a la yegua cerca de donde estaba él.

Yesterday I was on a horse stable with some friends. Now that the warmer weather arrives you can start out in the countryside, although yesterday was a wind ...

We watched how they lived, areas that have to walk, we walk to a mare ... There was a donkey very friendly and curious and he followed us when we walked with the mare near where he was.

¡Hola chicas!

Ya tenemos los patrones definitivos. Ya están perfectos y no hay que hacerles más retoques. Sólo tenemos que pasarlos a los prototipos para ver cómo quedan y darles el visto bueno final.

¡Vaya fin de semana! Mi madre y mi tía no han parado de trabajar. No sé cómo agradecérselo. Yo he estado haciendo los últimos pedidos (de cremalleras, forros, botones...). 

No veo el momento de hacer el muestrario, y luego el catálogo, y luego la feria, y luego las ventas... ¡Qué ilusión!

We have definite patterns. They're perfect and we don't need to make more changes. We just have to pass them to the prototypes to see how they look and finally approve.

What a weekend! My mother and my aunt have not stopped working. I don't know how to thank them. I've been doing the last orders (zippers, linings, buttons ...).

I can not wait to do the sample, after the catalog, after the fair, and after  sales ...How exciting!A kiss to everybody and thanks for reading the blog! I put some photos of this weekend.

seguimos con los patrones de la colección y esto parece que no acaba nunca. Siempre hay algún retoque que hacer, una costura que reforzar, algo que cambiar...

La verdad es que los vestidos están quedando muy bonitos y eso que estamos con los prototipos. Cuando hagamos el muestrario con las telas que elegimos quedarán preciosos.

Menos mal que tengo ayuda, si no sería imposible hacer todo esto. Este fin de semana mi tía y mi madre han estado ayudándome a ultimar los detalles y poco a poco todo va saliendo bien.

Ahora que "La Nena Pitita" está intentando entrar en el mundo de la moda no me vendría mal un poquito de magia.

we continue to make the patterns of the collection and this never ends. There is always something to patch, a seam to reinforce, something that change ...

The truth is that the dresses are being very beautiful and they are only the prototypes. When we make the sample with the fabrics we choose they will be beautiful.

Luckily I have help. This weekend my aunt and my mother have been helping to finalize the details and little by little everything is going well.

Now that "La Nena Pitita" is trying to enter the fashion world I would not mind using a little magic.

Semana Santa en Zaragoza

Hola chicas,

estos días de Semana Santa me he quedado en Zaragoza. Me gusta mucho bajar a Andalucía en estas fechas, suelo ir a Granada, pero este año me he quedado aquí. En Zaragoza también hay mucha tradición de Semana Santa, aunque no es tan conocida como la de Sevilla. 

Fuimos a ver el paso de la Hermandad de Cristo Despojado de sus Vestiduras. Tenemos una prima que sale en la procesión. El paso sale de la iglesia de San Juan de los Panetes, que está muy cerca de la Basílica del Pilar. 

Fue todo muy bonito, me gustó mucho.

¡¡¡Si sois de fuera os animo el año que viene a venir a Aragón en Semana Santa!!!

these days of Holy Week (Easter) I've stayed in Saragossa. I love going to Andalucía at this time, I usually go to Granada, but this year I've been here. In Saragossa there is also a long tradition of Easter, but it's not as well known as that of Seville.

We went to see the figure of the Brotherhood of Christ stripped of his garments. We have a cousin who comes in the procession. The figure leaves the church of San Juan de los Panetes, which is very close to the Basilica del Pilar.

It was all very nice, I enjoyed it.

If you are from outside Saragossa, I encourage next year to come to Aragon Easter!

En el post de hoy vamos a hablar de la Naturaleza y lo que representa para La Nena Pitita. Ya hemos dicho en alguna ocasión que nos encanta, la respetamos y por eso nos gusta reciclar , reutilizar las cosas y, sobre todo para nuestros productos, no usamos nada de origen animal (piel, pelo, cuero...).

Hi everybody!

In today's post we will talk about Nature and what it stands for La Nena Pitita. We have said on occasion that we love it, we respect it, so we like recycling, reusing things and, above all, for our products we don't use anything of animal origin (skin, hair, leather ...).

Me pasa una cosa curiosa siempre que voy de compras y pregunto si unos zapatos o una cazadora son de piel auténtica. Si no lo son, me suelen contestar: "lo siento pero no, es imitación". Luego se sorprenden cuando ven que lo que quiero es que no sea de piel.

Sé que aún mucha gente piensa que lo que no es de piel no es de calidad. Es sólo cuestión de saber buscar. Yo hace mucho tiempo que no compro nada de origen animal y en La Nena Pitita usamos materias primas sintéticas, no por ello de mala calidad.

I usually happen a curious thing when I go shopping and I ask if a shoes or a jacket are real leather. If it's not, they tell me: "sorry, but it's a imitation." Then they are surprised when they see what I want is not leather.

I know that many people still thinks that if it's not leather it's bad quality. Just knowing look for. Long time I have not bought anything of animal origin and La Nena Pitita uses synthetic raw materials, not of poor quality.

Nos gusta que cada cosa esté en su lugar. Y los animales no deben sufrir en beneficio de la moda. ¡Están mejor jugando en el campo!

We like that everything is in his place. And animals should not suffer for the benefit of fashion.They are better playing in the field!

Tejidos para verano

¡¡Hola chicas!!

¿Os acordáis de que este jueves íbamos a ver las telas para las colecciones? Pues ya están todas elegidas.
Hemos hecho una selección para una colección especial que vamos a lanzar en  primavera-verano. Será una colección de presentación oficial de La Nena Pitita en el mundo de la moda. Y las otras telas son para la colección del año que viene, que hay que ir mirándola ya.

Para este verano hemos elegido unas telas preciosas. Predominan los verdes, amarillos y rosas. Los estampados son muy variados y hay motivos de jardinería, barquitos, plantas, flores, mariquitas... Como os digo, será una colección especial, de presentación de la marca en el mundo de la moda. Haremos sólo 6 vestidos de cada diseño así que serán únicos.

Do you remember that this Thursday we went to see the fabrics for the collections? Well, we had chosen all. We have made a selection for a special collection that we will launch in spring-summer. It will be a collection of official presentation of La Nena Pitita in the world of fashion. And the other fabrics are for the next year collection.

For this summer we have chosen a pretty fabrics. Predominantly green, yellow and pink. The patterns are varied and different drawings: gardening, boats, plants, flowers, ladybugs ... As I say, it will be a special collection, a presentation of the brand in the fashion world. We will make only 6 dresses each design so the dresses will be unique.

¡Hola chicas!

Por fin va tomando forma la colección. Esta semana estamos haciendo los patrones de los vestidos. Y el jueves tenemos dos reuniones con la casa de las telas y los complementos. No paramos pero lo hacemos con mucha ilusión.

Os dejo algunas fotos de estos días. Mi tía, que es una artista, me está ayudando con los patrones, porque yo no sé hacerlos, ¡y ella los hace con los ojos cerrados!

Finally, the collection takes shape. This week we are doing the patterns of the dresses. And on Thursday we have two meetings with the house of fabrics and accessories. We don't stop but we are very excited.

Here some pictures of these days. My aunt, who is an artist, helps me with the patterns, because I don´t know do them but she does them with her eyes closed!
